Inen and I were at the bank to ask some more questions about home loans. I had put Inen in the chair next to me, and he squirmed around a bit as I talked to the banker. At one point I was looking pensive and thoughtful over something. Inen looked over at me and said, "Pray?" I told him okay, and we held hands and prayed for wisdom, guidance, discernment, and peace in this process. Inen repeated the Amen and the end of our prayer. The banker was a bit misty eyed and declared that was one of the sweetest things she had ever seen. I'm very proud of Inen for initiating prayer. He has been very good for our spiritual lives.

How 'bout...
Once upon a time (sometime after Christmas), Korie was giving Inen a bath. At one point she was singing the alphabet song, when Inen interrupted her saying, "No no no no no! How 'booouuuuut.... Row row." So she sang Row Row Row Your Boat. We were just amazed that he knew how to use the phrase "how about" and suggest alternatives! And he's been doing it ever since, whether we like it or not. The end.

Month in Review: December 2009
With the holidays a blur behind us, I have now (finally) taken the time to post the December month in review slide show. It being February, I should probably put together and post the January slide show, and also take down my Christmas lights. There's always something to do. :)
Enjoy the show!

Turning Pages
Korie and Inen were reading The Monster at the End of this Book. For those who are not familiar with it, the premise of the book is that there is a monster at the end, and Grover is doing everything he can to keep the reader from turning pages so that they will not reach the monster.
Reading along to Grover's desperate pleas not to turn the page, Inen suddenly yells, "Turn it!"
